What’s Limiting Your Joy?

1 min

Gospel

Jn 15:9-11

As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you; abide in my love. If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and abide in his love. These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full.

It’s time to take back your life.

It’s time to slow down to the speed of joy.

All revolutions have a moment when they begin. This is your moment.

What’s Limiting Your Joy?

Welcome back to Radical and Relevant, where we are exploring the genius of the gospel, the genius of Jesus, and looking for a word or a phrase or an idea to anchor our day in the gospel. Today's reading comes again from John, John 15:9-11. "As the Father has loved me, so I have loved you. Abide in my love. If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love just as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in His love. These things I have spoken to you that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete."

Wow, it's powerful, isn't it? Jesus says that my joy-- he says I've done these things, I've said these things, I've shared these things with you so that my joy may be in you and your joy may be complete. Is his joy in you? And is your joy complete? And if not, what are we doing about that? What are the limiters of the joy that God wants you to experience in this life? Who are the limiters of the joy that God wants you to experience in this life? He's clear, right? It's so beautiful. It's so clear. It's like these things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.

Have an amazing day and remember, Be Bold, Be Catholic.
